In a previous article, we talked about Bibi ka Maqbara, one of the most important monument of the city.
After more research and the meeting of two historians who do not make ideology, we must admit our mistake regarding information about this monument.
We wrote that the Bibi ka Maqbara was built by Azam Shah, the son of Aurangzeb. This is quite impossible. Indeed, Azam Shah was born in 1653 when the construction of the monument began in 1651.
Why this error?
There is a will in Aurangabad, to erase all traces of Aurangzeb in the history of the city. The latest manifestation of this will is the wish of some politicians to change the name of Aurangabad to Sambaji Nagar in May 2016.
Information on the history of the city and the monuments must therefore be closely studied. As you can see in the next photo, the official information of the Bibi ka Maqbara is false and validated by the Indian authorities.

We apologize for these errors and we undertake to verify our information even more before publishing them
