From 3 to 6 February, the 4th international film festival will be held in Aurangabad, Maharashtra. This festival allows the screening of 29 films of all nationalities. This year, French movies are in the spotlight with 5 films screened as well as Spanish movies with the same number of films. Other films from Poland, Portugal, Switzerland, Turkey, Serbia, Chile, Israel and India will be presented too.
This festival is associated with the Pune Film Foundation.
The opening film will be Rauf, a Turkish film about the story of Rauf, an 11-year-old boy who falls in love with his carpenter’s daughter. To prove his love, he embarks on a journey to find a pink scarf that does not exist in his village. This film was selected at the Berlin, Hamburg and Istanbul Film Festival.
The themes of the films are very diverse, such as the housing crisis in Spain, stories of disappointed love and even LGBT themes.
